Youssoupha Ndiaye

Director for Planning, Research and Statistics, Ministry of Health, Senegal

Youssoupha Ndiaye, MD, PhD is the Director for Planning, Research and Statistics at the Ministry of Health and Social Action in Senegal. He studied medicine in Dakar University (UCAD), and completed a Master of Public Health in 2005 at the University of Leeds, United Kingdom. In 2013, he achieved a PhD and finalized a post doc in UCAD Senegal in collaboration with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine through Malaria Capacity Development Consortium. For 15 years, he went through different steps of the health system as health officer in national Extended Program of Immunization, district chief officer, and regional health director in South Senegal. He is highly committed in health system development strategies and piloted some initiatives in Senegal.
