Waruguru Wanjau is a public health consultant and medical doctor. .She has wide experience in Global health. As a medical student she was in the national executive of the Medical Students Association of Kenya (MSAKE). She then served at the International Federation of Medical Students Associations(IFMSA) , a federation of 120 national medical students organizations as the Regional Coordinator for Africa then the Liaison Officer to the World Health Organization (WHO)
She was a youth commissioner for the Lancet- University of Oslo commission on Global governance for health. She worked with the International Health Partnership (IHP+) between WHO and the World Bank as an intern and later as a communications consultant.
She has an MPH for Johns Hopkins University, a MBChB -Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and a BSc (Human Anatomy) from University of Nairobi. She also holds a diploma in Spanish Language and Culture from the Universidad de Navarra.
She is currently a board member of InciSioN- International Student Surgical Network and a public health consultant.
