“We are the biggest youth generation ever and we need to take part of the decision-making processes and work actively to improve our communities.” Marie My Warborg Larsen was recently elected as Danish Youth Delegate for Equality and Sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). She will represent the Danish youth as part of the official Danish delegations to different UN meetings and advocate for meaningful youth participating. She is part of two different youth- led organisations and have been part of partnership projects with East African youth organisations since 2015 with experience from Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda and have an extensive experience in organisational work including project monitoring, facilitating and developing of workshops. She is a public health student on her master and have work with health projects both nationally and internationally especially with focus on SRHR and peer-to-peer education. The partnership projects give opportunities for young people to be an active stakeholder in addressing the health challengers in collaboration with young people across borders.
