Following a B.A. at Dartmouth College, Goutham was a consultant at the Dallas office of the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he conducted analyses and delivered synthesized recommendations in a variety of spaces spanning retail, utilities, manufacturing, and media for three years. Following his time with BCG Goutham joined Gates Ventures where he serves as the topic lead for the EGH Nutrition portfolio, working closely with research partners and end-users to provide evidence-based insights to help inform decision-making. While his focus to-date has been focused on stunting, the EGH aperture for nutrition is now expanding to also include Maternal Anemia.
