Aminata Mbaye

Postdoctoral researcher, CERFIG

Dr. MBAYE Aminata is a postdoctoral researcher on infection diseases at CERFIG (Guinea). She received her PhD in 2018 on Parasitology from the University Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar (Senegal). She was selected for the research program of the Islamic bank of development (ISBD) and the Matsumae International Foundation (MIF) in Japan. During her ISBD fellow, she did different work on Genomic et bioinformatic tools at the IHU Mediteraneen infection a Marseille (France). She is now principally on two projects at CERFIG. The first is the AFROSCREEN project for genomic surveillance of SARS-CoV-2 in west Africa. The second is DOPERAUS project for the operationalization of One Health platform in Guinea and RDC in which she assures the lead of one of the main studies.
