The Africa Health Agenda International Conference (AHAIC 2025), held in Kigali, Rwanda, from March 2–5, marked a monumental milestone—a decade of Africa-led thought leadership in health. At a time when global health funding is on a continuous decline and Africa contends with a growing disease burden, AHAIC 2025 stood as a beacon of hope and action as one of Africa’s largest and most influential public health forums. This year’s theme, “Connected for Change: Addressing the Social and Ecological Dynamics of Health,” provided an energizing platform for reimagining Africa’s health future through collaboration, innovation, and sustainable solutions. Together, we explored groundbreaking ways to build a resilient and self-sustaining healthcare future for Africa.
