Clare Battle is a Policy Lead at the Wellcome Trust, where she co-leads Wellcome’s engagement in the Future of Global Health Initiatives (FGHI) process. She also leads the FGHI Research & Learning Task Team, which brings together over 30 experts to support and advise on the delivery of a robust, action-orientated process of research and learning that will help reimagine the future Global Health Initiatives landscape.

Previously she has worked as Head of Policy at Malaria No More UK, and as a Senior Policy Analyst in WaterAid’s Global Policy Team. Clare holds a BA in Geography from the University of Cambridge, and an MSc in International Politics from the University of London.
