Dr Frank Kagoro

Africa Regional Manager, The Global Health Network

Dr Frank Kagoro is Africa Regional Manager for The Global Health Network, University of Oxford. Frank is a Tanzanian research physician and a spatial epidemiologist with more than 10 years of working in Africa and Asia in clinical and public health research and data science. His role at The Global Health Network is to lead research and data science capacity-building activities in the African region, within a global decentralised franchise organisation that has regional coordination centres in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. This involves scaling up in Africa the portfolio of research-enabling methods and processes developed by the vast membership of The Global Health Network over many years, which is driving active knowledge mobilisation to support research in any healthcare setting. A particular focus is on connecting health care delivery with research teams and organisations enabling research in diseases and communities where evidence is lacking.
