Global Medical/Scientific Affairs Lead (Vaccines) with Johnson & Johnson (J&J) Global Public Health (GPH)

Dr. Kashmira Date is the Global Medical/Scientific Affairs Lead (Vaccines) with Johnson & Johnson (J&J) Global Public Health (GPH). Born and raised in India, she is a medical doctor with a Master of Public Health (Columbia University) and an alumni of the prestigious Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) Fellowship program. Prior to joining J&J, she was a senior medical officer with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for over 10 years. She has received several awards including the ‘Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE) under the Obama Administration and the 2022 Woman of the Year (Science) - Women in Technology group. Dr. Date is an ardent supporter of diversity, equity and inclusion for women leadership. She was selected to be a part of the inaugural cohort of the ‘WomenLift Health Leadership Journey’ and leads J&J’s North America Advancement Pillar for the Women Leadership and Inclusion group.
