Regional Policy Advocacy and Capacity Strengthening Specialist, Institute of Capacity Development, Amref Health Africa

Vania Kibui is a public policy, human rights and advocacy practitioner with over thirteen years’ experience, in public policy advocacy, regional and international human rights law, advocacy communications, strategic partnerships management, and movement building in the global south. She is a skilled facilitator and master-trainer and is passionate about engendered feminist and human centered approaches to influencing public policy formulation, implementation. She leads youth capacity strengthening initiatives and CSO focused programming and that support engagement with systems and processes to promote and protect human rights, for accountability for the health and wellbeing of communities.

She is a lawyer, an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, has an MA in Public Policy and Administration and is currently undertaking a Global Masters in Business Administration. She is currently the Regional Policy Advocacy and Capacity Strengthening Specialist supporting regional and global advocacy, and youth programming at Amref Health Africa.
