Elina Urli Hodges

MSPH, Assistant Director of Programs, Duke Global Health Innovation Center and Innovations in Healthcare

Elina Urli Hodges is an Assistant Director of Programs at the Duke Global Health Innovation Center at Duke University and its partner non-profit organization, Innovations in Healthcare. Elina oversees a portfolio of programs that aim to increase equitable access to health products and services in low- and middle-income countries. Elina has expertise in developing impact measurement frameworks, leading monitoring and evaluation initiatives, and assessing the end-to-end pathways and key factors involved in the introduction and uptake of interventions such as vaccines and medicines.

Prior to joining Duke University in 2016, Elina worked for more than a decade on non-communicable disease prevention, population health, and global workplace health promotion projects with U.S. government institutions, multinational corporations, and health systems. Elina received a Master of Science in Public Health, with a concentration in Health Policy and Management and a Global Health certificate, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
