Ina Skosana is a health journalist and editor based in Johannesburg, South Africa. She currently works as the health and medicine editor at The Conversation Africa where she spends her days collaborating with the continent’s leading scientists to translate their research into articles everyone can understand. Ina was previously a health researcher at Africa Check - the continent’s first independent non-profit fact-checking organisation. Prior to that she was a journalist at the Mail & Guardian’s Centre for Health Journalism which is now known as Bhekisisa. Ina has won several national awards for her reporting. And continues to have a strong passion for social justice and women’s rights
